We really know downtown and the law business are now safe for chinos.
Old-line, silk-stocking Faegre & Benson has switched rather than fight the decade-old workplace trend toward "business casual attire," according to a management memo of last week.
"Because all floors are regularly frequented by clients and other visitors, casual attire should remain professional," the Management Committee wrote. "Moreover, our attire on any particular day should be aimed at meeting our clients."
