Brinks Hofer is a patent firm. It doesn't/won't have tax. The chat about salary increases misses the point. If a younger lawyer cranks, the younger lawyer justifies a salary of 100k+. Focusing on who asked for the salary war is defeatist. If you are a younger lawyer who has ambition, then any hour "goal" shouldn't be an issue. If you are a younger lawyer who has a goal of making big bucks while not doing much, and you're at a big firm, then you seem to be aiming to becoming nothing more then the GP's you all dish. As an aside this board seems dead.
