Sorry to hear that you got the axe, but glad that things are looking as good as they are. This will likely be a positive mile marker in years to come.
Of my many career decisions there is only one that I have absolutely no regrets about: leaving BigLaw. It was a great firm, the work was great, and the pay was great, but I just wasn't the kind of person who could do that the rest of my career.
